The r.Pi is a Raspberry Pi Model A + Camera Board, with a Buffalo AirStation™ N150 Wireless USB Adapter to provide a wireless platform for a smart device to connect to.
The Model A’s low power requirement and small form factor allows the Camera Board and Wireless Adapter to be attached without taking up unnecessary space or power, making it the ideal board to fly a drone.
The Camera Board’s capability to output a HD video feed enhances the flying experience by giving the operator a first-person perspective, creating better situational awareness.
The custom r.Pi image is built off a minimal version of Raspbian and only contains essential packages allowing for optimal utility of resources and an extremely quick boot.
